2. How do I get to Universal Studios Singapore?

Via MRT and monorail

The best way to get to Universal Studios Singapore is via public transport. You’ll need to take the MRT to Harbourfront Station, located on the North-East and Circle Lines. Once you arrive at this station, take Exit B, then walk to VivoCity mall. Follow the signs leading to the third floor of the mall.

On the third floor of VivoCity is the Sentosa Express, a monorail line that is separate from the MRT network. Go to the ticketing counter to buy a train ticket to the Resorts World Station (previously called Waterfront Station).

The Resorts World Station is the first stop of the monorail line, so expect the ride to be short. Once you disembark, you can easily walk straight to Universal Studios Singapore. Follow the signs leading you to the iconic Rotating Globe right in front of the entrance.

Via cable car

Those looking for a more scenic route can take a cable car to Sentosa. The journey will take a bit longer, but you’ll be rewarded with gorgeous overlooking views of Singapore and Sentosa Island on your way to the theme park.

Similarly, you’ll start from the Harbourfront MRT Station, after which you will transfer to the Harbourfront Cable Car Station. Take the Mount Faber Line cable car line (pre-book your tickets here) that will take you to the Sentosa Cable Car Station.

Once there, walk to Imbiah Lookout Cable Car Station, then take another cable car to the Merlion Cable Car Station. From there, all that’s left to do is walk to the entrance of Universal Studios Singapore.

3. Is one day at Universal Studios Singapore enough?

Definitely! If you get to the park on or before noon, you should have plenty of time to explore everything it offers. You should allow at least six hours for your visit. Again, you should buy the Universal Studios Singapore Express Pass to make the most of your trip.

A reasonable budget for a single day at USS would be SGD 70 per person, on top of the tickets. This allows you to enjoy the park’s yummy selection of restaurants and kiosks for lunch, snacks, and dinner. For those who want to minimise expenses, we recommend bringing your own water bottle or tumbler, as the park has plenty of drinking fountains.
