LEGOLAND is one of the most popular family-friendly attractions in Malaysia, boasting over 40 different rides and attractions scattered across eight different themed zones. And deciding to visit there for a fun family day out is an easy decision – here’s a complete guide if you’re planning a trip soon.

But what are the best options of transport from Singapore to LEGOLAND? Well, to save you that impending headache that is coming your way, here’s how to travel from Singapore to LEGOLAND, Johor Bahru, via car, bus, and train.

The easiest way to travel from Singapore to LEGOLAND is by car. Not only can you reach the theme park directly, but it also takes significantly less time (barring an insane jam at the Causeway, of course). Plus, there’s no better way to embark on a LEGOLAND day trip than being behind the steering wheel yourself.

Driving

If you’re driving, there are two main routes to get from Singapore to LEGOLAND, namely the Woodlands Causeway, which links into JB Sentral, and the Tuas Second Link, which is much closer to LEGOLAND Malaysia.

Once you get to LEGOLAND Malaysia, you can park at the two designated parking zones at the theme park, which costs MYR 10 per entry.

Private transportation

Alternatively, you can book a direct transfer service via private car services from cross-border providers like NusaTransport.

While it may be a little pricey for individual travellers heading to the theme park alone, a direct transfer via private transportation is an affordable option for those travelling in groups. You also won’t have to worry about parking when you get there.

2. How to go LEGOLAND by bus?

Public bus

At Jurong East Interchange, board buses CW3 or CW4 (or CW6 at Boon Lay) and head to the Tuas Checkpoint. After passing through customs at CIQ 2nd Link, transfer to buses JPO1, SL1, or CW7L to Legoland Malaysia. The whole journey takes about two to three hours.

Alternatively, you can board SBS Transit 170 (blue plate) and CW1 (Kranji MRT Station); SBS Transit 170 (Red plate) and CW2 (Queen Street); SMRT Bus 950 (Woodlands MRT Station); CW5 (Newton Circus); or Transtar Express TS1 (Changi Airport) to Woodlands Checkpoints and JB CIQ.

From there, walk to JB Sentral and board bus LM1 to Legoland Malaysia – trust us, that’s the best option for how to go to LEGOLAND from JB Sentral.

Coach

Unlike public buses, a coach takes you directly to LEGOLAND without stopping at other locations along the way.

There are several travel tour companies that offer these rides and packages by bus operators to LEGOLAND via online booking.
