  2. Take a detour: Head to the Malayan Rainfortess, a two-and-a-half-storey water ride surrounded by lush greenery with 12 water slides, a first in Asia.
  3. Explore the Lost World Amusement Park: Once you’ve had enough fun at the water park, check out the fun and games on dry land. Here, you can go on a breathtaking roller coaster ride, or get yourself dizzy on the swinging Dragon Flights.
  4. Get to the spooky zone: For brave souls, visit the haunted chambers for a memorable, hair-raising experience.
  5. Hang out with the animals: Say hi to animals of 55 species at the petting zoo. The attractions here include the Tarantula Alley, Giraffe and Friends, Rabbit Wonderland, and Tortoise Kingdom. If you don’t want to drive, you can head to the theme park by bus from Ipoh city centre. If you are coming from other states in Malaysia or from overseas, you can easily reach Ipoh by train (Electric Train Service) or by plane.

The theme parks are open from 11am to 11pm (Monday to Friday), and it’s closed on Tuesday, except on school holidays and public holidays. During the weekends and holidays, the operating hours are from 10am until 11pm. Whereas the night park and hot springs are open daily from 6pm to 11pm. You should also definitely factor in the animal feeding timings on your visit especially if you have plans to visit the Lost World Petting Zoo.

What should I wear?

Given Malaysia’s hot and humid weather all year round, it’s best to go for casual and comfortable clothing.

Proper swimming attire is recommended for safety and hygiene purposes, but attire made from Lycra, Jersey, or Nylon material is also acceptable. The same dress code applies to visitors entering the hot spring and spa.

Is there any hotel nearby?

The park has both glamorous camping and resort options for you to choose from.

Lost World of Tambun hotel, aka the Lost World Hotel, is the only hotel in the country to offer free night park access.
