Highlights
Explore Kyoto's famous castles, temples, and shrines in this one day tour. Start as you visit the Nijo Castle, a historical location completed in 1626. Head next to the Kinkaku-ji Temple, a wooden architecture covered in gold. From there, stroll around the Kyoto Imperial Palace that was used to be an Emperor's residence. Also, you will have time to see and learn from places such as Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, Sanjusangen-do Temple, and Kiyomizu-dera Temple.

Start of tour
Nijo Castle (50 minutes) | Closed on all Tuesdays of January, July, August and December, and New Year's holidays. If closed, the Ryoan-ji Temple will be visited instead.
Kinkaku-ji Temple (45 minutes)
Kyoto Imperial Palace (40 minutes) | Closed on Mondays, Tuesdays if Monday is a national holiday, and Imperial Household event. The Kitano Tenmangu Shrine will be visited instead.
Lunch at Kyoto Station area, own expense (60 minutes)
