Had a great recharge at Shangri-la. Hotel is centrally located yet nestled in a quiet neighbourhood. It was really nice to just sit in our room's balcony and look out at the vast skies. We also enjoyed the landscaping in the hotel premises and chilling in the evening in the Lobby Lounge. A pity we spent too little time in our elegant and spacious room on the Garden Wing. Hotel seems really popular for families with young kids as there's a nice water playground. Despite that it wasn't noisy as the facilities were well spaced. We opted for the spa package. Do book in advance if you intend to go! It was fully booked during our stay and we didn't a chance to use the spa, but thankfully guest services was able to offer us a voucher to use in the next couple of months.
Best value for the stay compared to some other sites. Will definitely book again through Pelago. Of course Shangri-la was excellent as usual.
