Good To Know
In the event of cancellation due to bad weather, you will be notified via email 24 hours prior to the tour.
Stargazing under the rain is no fun. To make sure this doesn’t happen, you will be emailed at 3 pm on the day of the tour if it needs to be cancelled. More notice may be possible upon request, however, the provider needs to check the latest weather forecast.
In the event of cancellation you will be given 2 choices:
1. Receive a gift voucher/credit to reschedule your tour (valid for 3 years)
2. Choose to attend an alternative 90-minute indoor Planetarium Astronomy tour located at a closed venue in Leura. (The Planetarium will not be available from 25th Jan to 26th Feb 2023). It is an immersive astronomy tour led by an Astrophysicist taking place inside a dome with a powerful projector and cinema experience. Please note the venue of the Planetarium is not wheelchair-accessible.

The tour is designed to suit children who are 4 years old and above.
Younger children may join the tour, however, the tour can be quite challenging to follow at such a young age, and they might not be able to get the most out of the tours.
Young children are welcome to come along free of charge (younger than 3 years old), however, parents are encouraged to be mindful of the tranquillity of other guests during the tour.

Directional Tips
The drive takes approximately 20 mins from Blackheath through the beautiful rainforest in the Glen and down to the valley floor. Follow the signs along the road and turn right off the Megalong Valley Road at the Six Foot Track onto Aspinall Road.
