Experience modern gastronomy at its best at Sra Bua by Kiin-Kiin, a one Michelin star restaurant. Conceptualised by world-famous Chef Henrik Yde-Andersen, the restaurant is well known for Thai-inspired fine dining created and presented with impressive modern interpretations.
Savour a curry served with the texture and temperature of ice cream and bites of lobster locked inside gelatinous pearls that melt in the mouth with a sip of Tom Yam broth. Everything from fish sauce to prawn crackers is made in the Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin kitchen.
It was our first foray into Michelin dining overseas and the wait staff were so friendly and welcoming to us. They were very good in explaining the dishes to us. Food on the whole was great as well, and restaurant, though dark, was tastefully decorated as well.
Amazing experience! Would say it’s 5 stars for sure. When we first arrive, we are greeted warmly by staff and seated at a lounge area where we are served a series of starters and welcome drink. These are not part of the actual 8 course meal dinner. Of course with fine dining, each dish is a small portion, and can be finished with a single mouth full, but the point is the chef’s creativity and different variety of dishes. Each item is something unique and I don’t think you could easily find elsewhere. The staff are fluent in English and introduce each dish to you when served. Although I can’t remember each exact description, the photogenic images will be lasting proof. After that we are led to sit at a proper table for our meal to begin. Can’t fault their service at all, the restaurant has a warm hospitality and seems ready to serve tourists and visitors with good English. Every dish in the menu was interesting and some even had a show presented - for example one of it was something like a tomyum soup and they cooked the broth in front of us using some instruments that you may find in a science lab. Even things like the serving plates and ware were exquisite. We also received a bar of chocolate each which is made by the restaurant themselves, wrapped in a piece of traditionally dyed denim for souvenir. Totally enjoyed the meal experience with my family. Would recommend to give a try :)
Fun and fascinating dining experience with each course. The people at the restaurant were very well-trained and the food feels genuine rather than gimmicky. The dishes were excellent and generally delicious as well.
Wonderful n hilarious meal with lots of surprises thrown in. Amazing food! Thai influenced molecular cuisine that never seemed to end. We were full halfway through the meal. Great place to enjoy a good evening with friends!
