  1. Explore the ancient ruins of the Ayutthaya Dynasty more than 600 years ago. It was burned after a large-scale capture by Myanmar in 1767, causing the collapse of the Ayutthaya Dynasty. The ruined sites all have a unique historical story behind them.
  2. See the precious world cultural heritage. Ayutthaya has been listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The ancient Thai style makes people think about the spirit of the dynasty.
  3. Experience the local culture and local market, delicious, shopping, and beautiful.
  4. Visit the symbol of the earliest building in Ayutthaya, the most authentic Thai stupa building, the famous "Buddha in the tree" and the wall in the tree.

Itinerary

  • Wat Phutthaisawan Temple

    1 hoursAdmission Ticket Included
The stupa building in Putai Sawang Temple, built in 1353, is the earliest pure Thai style pagoda in Ayutthaya, with a white Khmer style pagoda in the middle, built according to the belief of Buddhist cosmology. On the left side of the door are five statues of kings, which have played an important role in Thai history. The main stupa can be visited. There are snake statues at the staircase entrance. In Buddhism, the snake is the patron saint of the Buddha.
  • Wat Ratchaburana (Temple of the Royal Restoration)

1 hours 30 minsAdmission Ticket Included
Built in 1424, Rajapurana Temple is a memorial to the royal brothers who died during the battle for the throne during the Ayutthaya period. It is the construction of a late stupa in Ayutthaya and was influenced by Khmer culture. There are scattered Buddha heads around the temple, which are relics cut off by the Burmese army in the 18th century. It was famous in 1957 when it was robbed of the tomb and stole many valuable treasures.
  • Wat Mahathat

    1 hoursAdmission Ticket Included
Mahathat Temple was built in 1374 and is one of the earliest Khmer stupas built in Ayutthaya. It was burned after a large-scale invasion in Myanmar. The ruined site still shows the spirit of the prosperous dynasty that year, and was included in the World Cultural Heritage by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization in 1991. The world-famous "Buddha Head" is a national treasure-level cultural relic in Thailand. In the concept of Thai Buddhism, the head of a Buddha kept by a tree is a very lucky sign.
  • Wat Phra Ngarm

    1 hoursAdmission Ticket Free
The wall in the tree is a group of temple ruins located in Wat Phra Ngarm. Inside the temple, a broken ancient wall is covered by the roots of the tree. It grows like the light emitted, forming a special "wall in the tree". In the evening, with the light, you can take beautiful and dreamy photos.
