Fun and full of adventure
Go for it! It's worth every single penny. The only thing you have to endure is the drive to the location. It's a long 2 hours drive from Patong just to reach the destination.
The activities were great but the time and transport arrangements were disappointing. It indictaed the program timimg as 6.30am-2.30pm but we only arrived at my hotel at 6pm! This disrupted my late afternoon and evening plans :( We were arranged to go the waterfall and monkey temple which we did not sign up for and it wasn’t practical for us to go back by our own as the journey back to our hotel is 2hrs! We have to continue the journey as a group so I suspect the provider probably doesnt have enough vehicles thus we were arranged to join the group with the full day tour. Along the way we were even informed that another van will come and pick us up as we are not joining the elephant ride activity, but ended up we were just waiting for the group to finish their elephant ride and took the same van to the next location eventually! When we tried to clarify with the driver why the other van didn’t come, he just brushed us off with a vague answer. I appreciate the arrangements but I am very disappointed with their dishonesty :(
