Today, you can step aboard these historic locomotives and be transported back in time. You’ll feel the steam from the chimney, hear the train’s whistle blast, and take in the most incredible views from open-side carriages. There are four main routes to choose from:

1. Belgrave to Lakeside

Get set for an hour-long train adventure through the magical Sherbrooke Forest and over the iconic Monbulk Creek Trestle Bridge. Once at Lakeside Station in Emerald Lake Park, the fun continues!

Booked the Devonshire Tea package? Enjoy freshly baked lemonade scones and your choice of coffee or tea at the charming Railway Café.

Explore the Lakeside Visitor Centre for a dose of history with steam artefact displays at Lakeside Hall and the ‘Animal Tales’ exhibition.
