1. Feed adorable goats at a local farm

Hay Dairies, Singapore’s sole goat farm producing goat’s milk locally, has around 800 goats of various varieties on its farm. You have permission to stroll about the farm grounds and observe the goat milking process, feed the goats, and pet them. They are quite friendly!

The goats are milked every day from 9am to 10.30am so make sure you arrive at this time if you want to see it. If you wish to feed the goats, you may buy alfafa hay. Don’t miss out on the goat’s milk. Fresh from the farm and extremely creamy!

 


2. Display your Laser Tag prowess

You can tour this 100-year-old house and learn about Peranakan culture through many of its artefacts and exhibitions.

You can also experience Peranakan daily life with traditional clothes and foods ranging from batik sarongs and beaded slippers to pineapple tarts and chocolates.


16. Tour the Tiger Brewery

Go on a midday tour of the Tiger Brewery to get a sense of Singapore’s distinctive and dynamic culture. Rates for a sit-on-top kayak start at $12 per hour and go up to $15 per hour for a sea kayak. If you want to stand and test your balance, stand-up paddleboards may be rented for as little as $15.


20. Splash in the waters of Jurong East Sports and Swimming Centre

Jurong East Swimming Complex, a perennial favourite with Westies, was Singapore’s first public pool to provide the general public with a lazy river (complete with float, no less), a wave pool, and fun slides. There’s no doubt you’ll be soaking at the end of the day at this water park for less than $2. If you’re looking to do some serious swimming, the property also has a competition pool.


21. Take a Journey to Hell

Haw Par Villa, Singapore’s weirdest theme park, is a lovely and weird sight to witness. The expansive gardens, which feature sculptures and dioramas showing scenarios from the stories and myths of Buddhism, Taoism, and Chinese mythology, are free to visit and explore, so prepare to spend an hour or two strolling around. The air-conditioned Hell’s Museum, on the other hand, is ticketed, so if you want to tour the fabled Ten Courts of Hell, tickets cost $18 per adult.


22. Admire the City Skyline

If you’re willing to spend a bit more but still keep it affordable, consider heading to Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Go up to the 57th floor on the Sands SkyPark Observation Deck for some amazing views of the city.
